Netbook Reflection 2013..!

This year, the special things I have learned from the netbook was the maths like GCF and LCM that the teacher put up on the class site and my reading, writing and maths has improved a bit  Having a netbook helped me to succeed in my learning. I have learned new strategies and how to blog a presentation slideshow. And, I have learned to  create and share my work to the blog. I have helped many students in my class and ask them if they would like help with their work. I use managing self to succeed in all my work and I also write stories online and read stories. Also I go on to Math Whizz to learn new math strategies. I have been using a netbook that has been connected to internet to do my work. It is so helpful that I have used it to learn things in a variety of ways. I have used my netbook to learn my basic facts from Math Whizz, used templates to improve my writing that is on the class site, and to do research about important things. I reckon that it is better to use a netbook to work rather than using pencil and paper, because it is faster and people from around the world can put comments to give me advice.

National Anthem..!

E ihowa atua,
O nga iwi matou ra,
Ata whakarongo na,
Me aroha noa,
Kia hou a ko te pai,
Kia tau to atawhai,
Manaakitia mai,
Aotearoa.

God of nations at thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land,
Guard pacific’s triple stars,
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,

God defend New Zealand.

Orienteering..!

Today room ten had there first orienteering, our instructors were Leon and Irene. First of all, we learned about all the controls and the symbols of the map. At the end we had a quiz on the symbols and controls, it was very difficult for me because I had remember a few. After we got split into two teams red and blue was a team and there instructor was Irene and yellow and green was with Leon, they gave out paper that had letters on then they gave each and one of us a first letter and we had to clip it. We Leon and Irene says go then we start looking for the next control and we ran clockwise. It was very enjoyable and next week we would be doing it in partner and we h would have our map.

Forever Dance...

This morning room 10 went down to the hall for a dance lesson with our instructors Captain and Christina. First they explain the 3 main rules, then we learned 5-6 moves. Once we have all the moves together because when they said that we were going to do it with the music I thought it was going to be hard but actually it was easy, then we had to repeat it over and over again till I time was over, after when we finish repeating it we had a dancing competition girls vs boy and the judge was Captain when they had announced the winner it was the boy and they were cheering as loud as the audience.
