This term I have been learning how to write good blog comments on different blogs.We have been making lots of comments on other schools blog.The difference it has made is I know how important it has been to practise writing before I copy and paste on the blog.
I enjoyed posting on different post because they might also comment on my post.
It has been challenging to connect with the other people's blog post but I think I have improved.

Constable Julie's Visit
Today Constable Julie came into our class to talk about road safety. Constable Julie came from the Glen-Innes police station. Road safety is important because we have to protect ourself when we cross the road. Part of her visit was an activity about distance and judging how far it takes for a car to stop. I learnt that we have to estimate between 0 to 70 meters how far away a car was. I enjoyed learning about road safety.

Watch out for those snacks!
This morning room 10 and 7 took a bus to the supermarket to learn about food labels. When we got there Ainslie and her partner were waiting where it says entry.Ainslie is working for the heart foundation. Each adult had a different group there were 5 groups and each group was starting with a different nutrition. We were starting with bread then we moved to Muesli Bar and we kept moving till the group finished checking the labels.Then we moved onto the fruit and vegetables.I was surprised that the choc rainbow bubble bars were so high in sugar.
Ainslie gave a $60 voucher card so that we can plan a healthy lunch.
